Summer in California means hours outdoors and playing in nature's landscapes. We love the character of San Diego but for our seasonal
photoshoot, we got inspired by all things exotic -- the ripeness of Indian mandarins, the intricate mosaic patterns of Marrekesh, and the dramatic sunrises and sunsets of coastal Mexico.
The question iss, how do you translate a foreign vision in the
place you call home? Luckily, San Diego is sprinkled with really special spaces that infuse the color and lushness we were searching for. Enter
Rancho Valencia, a resort and spa located in Rancho Santa Fe. This gem was hand selected by
Forbes Travel Guide as one of the finest Five-Star hotels in the world and was awarded the prestigious 2014 North America Grand Award by
Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report.
This hideaway has beautiful rooms, great food and
amazing pools, but what about the yoga space? Well, let's just say there's no better place to
practice yoga than in this lush paradise. Imagine flowing through sun salutations surrounded by fresh air, lush green and water - it's an oasis. We long for exotic destinations, but after experiencing Rancho Valencia with our
ambassadors and friends, Kenna Crouch and Courtney Miller, we decided we don't mind
planning a vacation close to home if it feels as good as this day was.
