They got fit for summer

In May, we launched a 31-day Fit 4 Summer Challenge. Studios and students participated in the challenge... all trying to attend as many classes as possible in the month of May. Pilates Center of Viera and their client Laura won the Challenge. We caught up with Amy Peters from Pilates Center of Viera to learn more about their experience getting Fit 4 Summer: "May to September is a slower time at the studio so when your challenge popped up in my inbox I thought it’d be a nice way to beef up classes . I gave my clients a super sweet deal, $200 for unlimited classes in hopes that they would try some new classes and maybe get hooked. It worked; the whole challenge was a success! Clients loved it and the instructors loved the energy in the classes. We actually created a couple class options just for the challenge and they are now strong classes on the schedule. Our studio is very small where all of our clients know each other and support each other. The challenge really rallied everyone. I am a big supported of ToeSox; I wear them everyday in the studio. If I forget them my feet know it." When Laura found out she won the Fit 4 Summer Challenge alongside her studio Pilates Center of Viera, she wrote: "This is so exciting - I can't believe I actually won! I had the best time trying different classes offered by PCoV and I have decided to work some into my exercise regiment going forward. I feel great now, but let me tell you... the first week I had to keep my eyes on the prize. I knew I was participating in something that was good for my fitness and well being. I always leave the studio in such a great mood! I learned I really like Barre Class. I had always envisioned it to have more ballet dance type movements and I am not a very good dancer. So imagine my surprise when I went to my first class and found myself looking forward to the next class!" We want to thank our partners who helped give our winners a wonderful bundle of goodies - Asha Patel Designs, Fivesse, Pilates Style Magazine, prAna, Yoga Journal, and Zico. Until next time... stay fit!
